About
A Welsh word meaning “to search”.
I built Chwilio because every SQLite GUI I reached for refused to load the one thing I needed — my own extensions. So the whole app is organized around that. Import an FTS tokenizer, a virtual table, or a custom function, and Chwilio checks it before arming it, scopes it to the databases you pick, and keeps the set in one window.
Everything else grew out of that. The reviewable change-set editor, the multi-tab SQL runner, the schema tools, import and export across nine formats, the ER diagram — all of it there so extensions feel like part of a real database tool, not a plugin stapled on the side.
